Schaefer, University of California, Irvine, and Derek Kreager, Criminal Justice Research Center Director, recently published “Charting the Hidden City: Collecting Prison Social Network Data” in Social Networks. The article illustrates the process of collecting network data from incarcerated-individuals within the setting of an institution.
