Biography:

Lindsay Bostwick is a post-doctoral scholar with the Criminal Justice Research Center and the Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing. She received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati, her M.A. in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, and her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Lindsay previously worked for the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority and the Illinois Sentencing Policy Advisory Council as a Research and Policy Analyst. Her work and research largely focuses on sentencing and corrections policy.

Lindsay’s dissertation examined methodological techniques for addressing censoring in prison time served data, developing a model for projecting the prison population under different sentencing scenarios, and the effect of parole violation recommitment policies on total time served in prison.
